City Council and Mayor
Comprising of the Mayor and five council members, the City Council serves in various capacities from utilities, parks and recreation to drainage and irrigation. The Mayor and the City Council are elected part-time positions on staggered 4-year terms and meet bi-weekly as a city council, and are non-partisan.
City Council meetings are open to the public and you can view our meeting calendar by clicking here. As required by state law, transcripts from each city council meeting are also kept, commonly referred to as 'minutes.' These are open to the public and are available for use in order to read what is discussed in City Council meetings. |
